About Fox Point

The Moore family fell in love with New Meadows the first time they stayed here and have since returned numerous times, renting others' cabins until it finally became time to get their own. Retreating to the mountains and spending time together is their favorite thing to do. Whether it's playing board games, reading a good book, or simply sitting around telling jokes and stories, Fox Point is their happy place.
Situated on six acres, Fox Point offers plenty of room to play both outside and inside. The spacious five-bedroom, three-bathroom cabin-home offers three bedrooms on the main level, including a large master with en-suite. Vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows open the great room up to fantastic views of the valley below and Brundage Mountain. A generous kitchen makes cooking and baking a pleasure, and the dining table that easily seats ten makes every gathering comfortable. You can seat another five at the bar. Above the great room, the loft provides options for sleeping, working, playing or getting away...but not too far away. The walk-out basement downstairs accommodates two additional bedrooms and another bathroom, a cozy breakfast nook, an additional family room and a large game space, again with a wall of windows so you never miss the great outdoors.
Fox Point is nestled in the mountains above Meadowcreek Resort, which offers tennis courts, a championship golf course, swimming pool and a fishing pond stocked by Idaho Fish & Game. More info at meadowcreekgolfresort.com.
While Fox Point has great sledding hills right out the back door, a short 20 minute drive will put you on the ski runs at Brundage. Brundage Mountain is a classic Idaho Ski Resort best known for its powder-packed glades and luxuriously wide groomed runs. In addition to exceptional skiing and snowboarding, Brundage offers top-notch amenities, including guided SnowCat Trips on 18,000 acres of backcountry terrain, guided snowmobile excursions, snowmobile rentals, and more. More info at brundage.com.
Just thirty minutes east you'll discover the resort town of McCall, situated on the South shore of Payette Lake. Dining, shopping and lake adventures await in this delightful town. More info here.
The perfect gateway to many adventures, you can also head north a few minutes to the hot springs, or continue further north to Riggins, the home of excellent salmon and steelhead fishing.
You'll find many options for hiking nearby, ranging from beginner to advanced. Be sure to check out the Hiking Idaho book at the cabin, or pick up your own copy here.
